Ruth Raubertas is a retired piano teacher with more than 35 years of experience with students of all ages.  She is a 1978 graduate of Indiana University with a Bachelor of Music Education with additional training in Suzuki and Kodaly education methods.  Ruth took up harp playing several years ago and in 2015 became a Certified Clinical Musician (also called therapeutic musician) through the Harp for Healing certificate program.  She interned at the VA Hospital in Martinsburg, West Virginia and at Hospice of the Panhandle in Kearneysville, West Virginia.

 

Ruth currently volunteers at Journeycare (Hospice) in the Woodstock, Illinois area and at St. Mary's Catholic Church as a catechist, choir member and piano accompanist.
